6 weeks old:

Well we can hardly believe it but Madison is 6 weeks old. I'm preparing to go back to work tomorrow. It's very hard to think about. I just hope everyone says a prayer for us tomorrow. It will be very hard for me to leave my little girl but I know she will be in good hands and her big brother is two classrooms away. We have spent the weekend preparing for the transition and I think I have the kids all packed except for a couple of odds and ends. I still am not sure exactly what time I need to get up to get us successfully out of the house on time. Madison was on an 8am feeding routine but has moved backed to 7am so now she eats at 3am and 7am but i need to be at work at 7am so I think we'll try a trick I learned from another mommy and use Madison's babydoll as a bottle prop that daddy and brother can use for on the way to school. Some good news of the week, at my doctor's visit I lost 25lbs since she was born! That's pretty good progress though I still can't fit in my pre-pregnancy jeans. I need a little more wiggle room. I had to go buy 2 pair of jeans this weekend to wear at work. I couldn't find any dress pants that would look right so I'll be washing those jeans a lot until I can get back in to my old clothes.
