Madison is 1 month old
I can't believe where the time has gone! Madison is 1 month old. She is so sweet and the best little girl. As I type this she is swinging and looking at herself in her bear mirror. She's making faces at the baby in the mirror. I wonder if she knows it's her? She's too cute. I've reorganized the photo site a little so that you can see how she progresses from week to week and month to month. Kind of like what I did for Jacob. I republished his 23rd photos so if you want to compare what big brother looked like when he was her age you can. All of that is at photos.markandjessica.us.
She is still in her newborn clothes although she can wear some of the 0-3 that she has. Her daddy put her in some this weekend that I washed preparing for her transition and they fit ok but remind me of when she first came home and the newborn clothes were too big. I got a new gadget that finally came in. I saw it on the Today Show a few weeks back called the Eye-Fi. It's makes your camera wireless so as soon as your computer turns on you can upload pictures with no wires. I didn't get the one that would upload to websites by itself because I figured I wouldn't use it that often but now wish I had. It's a neat little gadget.
For those of you who are curious, we didn't get any snow yesterday. It was all cold rain.
Jacob's eye appointment was on Friday. We forgot his glasses in a rush to get out of the house so Dr. Goei wasn't able to see his full progress but it looks like we may be headed for surgery with him if his eyes don't get any better. We have an appointment at the end of this month to determine whether he will need surgery. It's an outpatient procedure but if I have learned anything from adults that have gone through not having the surgery it's better to correct it now instead of letting the problems intensify down the road. Please keep Jacob in your prayers and for us to make the right decisions for him as his parents.
