Happy 4th of July!

We've been a pretty busy trio!  We went out to Jim and Toshi's yesterday evening to watch the fireworks from their front yard.  We got to visit with Jacob's Grandma June and Pa Pa, his Godparents George and Elizabeth, and his Great Uncle and Aunt Jerry and Peggy.  It was a lot of fun.  Little man won 50 cents in a 'find the golf ball' contest and jumped on a trampoline for the first time.  He watched about 5 minutes of the fireworks or as he called them "Uh Ohs" and then passed out on Pa Pa.  9:30 is way past his bed time.

We woke up at 7:45 (which is late for us) this morning and went to McDonald's for breakfast and then the grocery store.  Grandma Bev came over for lunch and I made my first peach cobbler.  After lunch we went for a wagon ride and then we decided to go over to Grandma June's and Pa Pa's for a visit. 

We are back in and settled for the night.  I just got off the phone with my dad or as Jacob calls him Grandpa Sam.  It's raining in Florida - ha ha no beautiful beach day for the Panhandle (Can you tell I'm a little home sick?)
