May - Hooray!
Happy Wednesday! This has been a pretty good week for the Peters Family. Monday and Tuesday night Jacob went to sleep with no bottle! He woke up at 3:30 on Monday and almost made it to the finish line (6:00am) last night. He woke up at 4:30am. Ahhh I have forgotten what sleep in more than 3 hour increments felt like. I wish I would have taken more effort to cut the bottle out sooner - I would have never guessed that was hindering our sleep. Little Man actually made it a full 24 hours without a bottle from 3:30am on Tuesday morning to 4:30am on Wednesday morning and both were WATER! He is definately a daddy's boy this week!!!
Softball Update: We played the other Knology team last night. We won 11-9. I got a double and made what I will call the winning run - we were 9-9 until I made it in and then me and guy behind me on 2nd scored. I actually made two contacts last night but the first one didn't get me to first. I wanted to share something one of my team mates emailed that I'm particulary proud of:
"By the way, I am proud of Jessica for not giving up at the plate last night and running the bases!!!!! She gave it her all and then some!!! Way To Go Jessica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I thought that was awesome, especially since I had told all my fans that I was not playing and arrived just before the game to find out that I was playing! I didn't wear my ankle brace or take my inhaler because I was thinking I was just going to be the Coach for the night.
I'll have to scan Jacob's first art work that was sent home on Monday. It was a Green G! My little man was representing his Samuelson roots and showing his Packer Pride! Mark and Jacob had to complete his first HOMEWORK last night. They had to color a picture BLUE. I think it turned out great!
Well I gotta run! (Not really my leg is killing me)
